nrsimasya bhavaed vaso
janaloke mahatmanau
sarvoparistac ca tatha
vishnuloke prakerititau
The blissful glories of Lord Nrsimha are described in the Nrsimha tapani Upanisad. It is said that Lord Nrsimha resides both in Janaloka and in the world of Vishnuloka, which is above all.
Although very ferocious, the lioness is very kind to her cubs. Similarly, although very ferocious to nondevotees like Hiranyakasipu, Lord Nrsimhadeva is very, very soft and kind to devotees like Prahlad Maharaj.
